Survival Family (2016) on Netflix

Plot summary

Yoshiyuki Suzuki, his wife Mitsue, and their children Kenji and Yui live in a Tokyo suburb, each occupied with a separate life. A total blackout stops every appliance and all man-made infrastructure in the city. Yoshiyuki's senior boss lays off all the workers and advises him to head to the countryside until the power can be restored. The family decides to leave for Kagoshima, where Mitsue's father lives. After first heading to Haneda Airport, they travel south on bicycles, one of the few modes of transport that need no electricity.
