Plot summary
In 2016 a filmmaker arrives in Athens for a screening of his movie Daddy, and there he encounters LGBT refugees who have fled persecution at the hands of their families, their governments and their own communities. They are stranded in Greece and cannot move on to other countries in the European Union. In the camps where many of them are housed, they are subjected to abuse, torture, rape and murder, and to years of displacement. Hearing what they describe, he decides to document the crisis and what he learns about it, as a member of the same community who came to the country under very different circumstances.
