Plot summary
Tara Salgaonkar is a skilled commercial diver who works off Malta for a dredging company run by Martin. The people around her find her hard to read, a young woman who goes her own way and defies the social conventions they expect her to keep. Incidents from her past still haunt her. They surface in bits and pieces, traumatizing her, and she cannot place what they belong to. Her mother, Sukanya, died by suicide, a loss Tara has not come to terms with, and she is on a mission to find the answers to questions about her mother that have gone unanswered.
