Plot summary
The documentary examines the pinball machine, an American invention from the mechanical and electrical age. During the 1950s through the 1970s, the pinball industry took in more money than the American film industry. The film considers the machine as a former pop icon and follows its history up to the present day. Fans, collectors, designers and champion players from several countries appear and speak about pinball. Filming took place between 2006 and 2008 in the United States, France, Italy, Sweden, Australia and the United Kingdom.
