Plot summary

Rémy Pelletier lives alone in his Paris apartment and works a job that requires no qualifications. Mélanie Brunet lives alone next door, on the same floor of the two adjoining houses, and works in scientific research. Both are thirty and have never met. Each tries in vain to meet someone, particularly on social media, and loneliness and a depressive mood settle over both. They decide to start attending therapy on a regular basis. Rémy talks with the psychologist J.B. Meyer, Mélanie with her own psychologist, and each sets out to find what lies at the root of their difficulties.
