Plot summary
With dreams of a tourist hotel on an uninhabited island in the south of Chile, Ana and Alejandro bring the family there, meaning to talk the grandparents into putting money into the venture, and the house they have taken for the trip is meant to become that hotel. Nicolás, the man who carried them over from the mainland, disappears, and the family is left stranded with no way back, cold nights and no water. Nobody knows where their boatman has gone, the smiles they arrived with fade, and the patience they came with wears thin, until the darker side of the family starts to show.
