Plot summary
On the Cape Flats, John Shelby High is a government school whose Matric class has final exams coming up and no Maths teacher. Gangsters are trying to get onto the school grounds. A group of wealthy pupils from elsewhere arrives to exchange cultures with the students there. Romances among the class begin and end as the day goes on, and one girl from the school is missing.
