Plot summary
Francisco Paesa worked for the Spanish secret service and took part in the country's biggest operation against the Basque group ETA. His own government framed him and he had to leave Spain. When he returns, he has no money and his personal life is in trouble. Luis Roldán, the former Commissioner of Police, visits him with an offer: one million dollars for keeping twelve million dollars of embezzled police money safe. Paesa works on a plan of his own to get hold of that money.
