Plot summary

The creation of Pakistan and the Bengali and non-Bengali leadership of its early years form the starting point, along with the geography that held the two wings far apart. It examines the economic disparity between the two wings and the language row that followed Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's decision to make Urdu the state language.
