Plot summary
A team of Egyptian archaeologists works in the Saqqara necropolis outside Cairo, led by the Egyptologist Mohammad Mohammad Yousef. They open a tomb cut in the 25th century BC and left untouched for 4,400 years, a burial no earlier excavation had entered. It belongs to Wahtye, a high-ranking priest who served during the Fifth Dynasty, and to members of his family. As the team clears passageways and shafts, personal possessions, statues and human remains come out of the chambers. The discovery is counted among the most significant finds made at Saqqara in almost fifty years.
