Plot summary
As the German occupation ends, a French pilot is downed over the snowy Giant Mountains, and children from the mountain villages take on his rescue. They pass him between villages the way a secret message is carried in a school game. The German occupation's soldiers are deadly, traitors and informers have to be outwitted, and the harsh winter in the mountains has to be survived. The story comes from real events.
