Plot summary
Scrat is adrift in the ocean, floating on a slab of ice, when an island comes into view. He rows across to it and goes ashore, taking a rest at the base of a coconut palm. Nearby he sees the skeleton of another Scrat, a sight that frightens him, and he hides. When he comes back out to examine the bones, he follows the dead creature's outstretched arm and spots an acorn lying far down in the water. To reach it, he settles on a plan: grip a heavy rock so that its weight carries him quickly to the bottom of the sea.
