Plot summary
An animal attack kills Cutter Murdock's uncle, and the family farm in South Africa passes to him. Murdock is an American private detective, and he flies to Johannesburg to claim the land. As he leaves the plane, a shot is fired and the man behind him falls dead. A second attempt follows when his chauffeur and car are blown up in an explosion. Craig Murdock, another uncle, and Craig's son Timothy were left out of the will, yet both have settled on the ranch. Cutter also meets Marla Oaks, an American game trapper's daughter. The land is a growing ground for heroin and marijuana, known as Satan's Harvest.
