Plot summary
Mary Class divides her time between a high-stakes firm in New York City and the North Pole, where her father, Santa Claus, is in the middle of a late-life crisis. The workshop's elves include Lucy, Skip and Gary. Tired of the responsibilities of the job, Santa is ready to pass the reins of Christmas to Mary, who is torn between the family business, the career she has built in the city and her relationship with Luke Jessup. Then Teri, an ambitious newcomer, arrives at the North Pole and sows dissension among the workshop elves, working to take over Christmas herself.
