Plot summary
Slaven returns to the Croatian village where he grew up for his father's funeral. The rivers there are swollen and the place is under threat. In the village he meets Marko again, a young athlete he has known since childhood. Marko was the love of his teenage years, and the cause of his expulsion from the family home. Slaven's return unsettles Marko's life, and the two are tempted to reunite. That would mean coming to terms with the choices each of them has already made and with the restraints their families place on them. Marko has to face his family and make his choice.
