Zuleikha Robinson

Biography

Born in London and raised in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, Zuleikha Robinson is a British actress who trained in Los Angeles at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her screen career began with the experimental film Timecode in 2000, and she drew notice as the thief Yves Adele Harlow on The Lone Gunmen in 2001. Her first leading part came in Hidalgo (2004), where she played an Arabian princess opposite Viggo Mortensen and Omar Sharif. The same year she appeared in The Merchant of Venice, and in 2006 she played Moushumi Mazumdar in Mira Nair's The Namesake. On television, she had a recurring role on Lost and later became a regular, and she appeared in Homeland, The Following, Rome, and New Amsterdam. Since 2019, she has played Assistant District Attorney Vanessa Hadid on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
