Plot summary
Katie Kampenfelt is eighteen and defers her first year of college, saying she does not know what to do with her future. Her guidance counselor suggests she keep a record of what she feels and does, in a diary or a blog. Katie chooses the blog, keeps it anonymous and titles it Undiscovered Gyrl. She fills it with her days and with her sex life, writing mostly about Dan, a man over thirty who works in film and has a girlfriend, and about Rory, her teenage boyfriend. She is involved with both.
