Wendy Worthington

Wendy Worthington is an actor, director and singer who began student film work in 1969 and took up acting so she could write for and direct other actors. She moved into acting full time after being edited out of Philadelphia, an experience that earned her a SAG card and led her to leave arts administration. After moving to Los Angeles, she was cast in Lulu, a new musical, and earned a Drama-Logue Award, and within a year she appeared on Murphy Brown. Her television roles included the Lunch Lady on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Margaret Camaro on Ally McBeal, Foodzilla on Even Stevens, and Miss Westmore on So Little Time. She helped found Theatre Neo. Her film work included a casting director in LA Twister, Lenore in In the Valley of Elah, and small parts in Tom Hanks films: Cast Away, Catch Me If You Can, and The Great Buck Howard. She directed theater and studied Radio-TV-Film at Temple University.
