Wendy Allnutt
Biography
Wendy Allnutt is an English actress who has worked in theater and on screen. Born in Lincoln, she studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama between 1963 and 1966. She quickly found stage work. Her film appearances include Wuthering Heights (1970), When Eight Bells Toll (1971), and From Beyond the Grave (1974). On television, she played Cordelia in a BBC King Lear in 1976 and Sarah in The Avengers in 1969, and she also appeared in The Regiment from 1972 to 1973 and in Man About the House in 1975. She acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in West End theater. She has also taught at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and in 2003 she choreographed a production of She Stoops to Conquer.
