Tom Meeten

Tom Meeten is an English comedian, actor, and writer. Born in Northampton, he graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1996 after studying fine art. He started his performing career as half of a comedy double act with Steve Oram, creating three Edinburgh Festival shows and appearing in the monthly London live show Oram and Meeten's Club Fantastico; the pair also wrote and starred in the Channel 4 comedy Matthew and Tone. On television, he appeared in comedies such as The Mighty Boosh and played many characters on Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy, touring with Fielding from 2014 to 2015. His film credits include Prevenge (2016) and Tank 432 (2015), and he also appeared in Weekender (2011). He wrote for That Mitchell and Webb Look and co-wrote and starred in Blunder. In 2018 he earned a BAFTA nomination for producing The Ghoul, a psychological horror in which he had the lead role.
