Susan Egan

Susan Egan is an American actress, singer and dancer who is known for her stage work. Born in Seal Beach, California, she began acting with area theater and light opera companies while she was a student. Tommy Tune gave her the role of Kim MacAfee in a tour of Bye Bye Birdie, and after a State Fair tour she was cast as Belle when Beauty and the Beast opened on Broadway in 1994. That role brought nominations for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award. She played Belle for a year and reprised it in Los Angeles in 1995, and later stage work ranged from Cabaret and Thoroughly Modern Millie to Triumph of Love. Her voice credits include Megara in Hercules (1997), Madame Gina in the English dub of Porco Rosso (1992), and Rose Quartz in Steven Universe. She also produces live stage productions.
