Steve Huison
Biography
Steve Huison is a British actor who works mostly on television and occasionally in film. Born in Leeds, he is best known for playing Lomper in The Full Monty (1997), a role he reprised in the 2023 television series released on Disney Plus. He also appeared in Ken Loach's The Navigators (2001). His television credits range from Casualty and Where the Heart Is to Dinnerladies, Heartbeat, The Royle Family, and Scott & Bailey, along with the post-apocalyptic drama The Last Train. In 2008 he played porter Norman Dunstan in The Royal Today, and from 2008 to 2011 he was Eddie Windass in Coronation Street. In 2012 he had a brief part as Mr. Byron in the opening season of 4 O'Clock Club, with Simon Lowe replacing him for season two. Huison co-founded the Shoestring Theatre Company and founded and hosted Cabaret Saltaire.
