Steve Gravers
Biography
Steve Gravers was an American character actor who worked in film and television from 1952 through the 1970s. Born in New York City, he was a life member of The Actors Studio. In 1955 he made his Broadway debut in the Studio's staging of A Hatful of Rain, written by Michael Gazzo, on the same night that his first featured television appearance aired on the anthology I Spy. His screen credits included Albert Anselmi in Al Capone (1959), Grover in Hell Bent for Leather (1960), and the voice of Blackwolf in Wizards (1977). He also appeared in Operation Eichmann, Across 110th Street, Blood Sabbath, and The Car. On television he appeared in The Untouchables, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Columbo, Kojak, and Charlie's Angels.
