Stacey Nelkin
Biography
Stacey Nelkin is an American actress who has worked in film and television and grew up in New York City. Her early television work included playing Bonnie Sue Chisholm in the CBS western miniseries The Chisholms, a four-episode part, in 1979. She chose not to return to that role when the miniseries continued in 1980, taking instead the part of Candy in Up the Academy (1980). Her horror credits include Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), in which she played Ellie Grimbridge. Cast as Mary, a Nexus-6 replicant, in Blade Runner, she had her part cut early in production because of budget constraints; she had previously tested for Pris, which went to Daryl Hannah. She made guest appearances on The Paper Chase, CHiPs and other series, and her best-known television role was Christy Russell on the soap opera Generations (1990). She also starred in The Shed, a 2022 horror film.
