Shaggy 2 Dope

Shaggy 2 Dope is an American rapper, record producer, actor and professional wrestler, born Joseph William Utsler in Michigan in 1974. He started in music in 1989 as Kangol Joe with JJ Boys, then helped form Inner City Posse with Joseph Bruce and John Utsler. In 1991 he co-founded Psychopathic Records with Bruce and manager Alex Abbiss, and later that year the group became Insane Clown Posse, where he and Bruce perform as the wicked clowns Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J. Their horrorcore style features dark lyrics and elaborate live shows, and the duo earned two platinum and five gold albums. His solo debut, Fuck Off!, arrived in 1994, and later solo records include F.T.F.O. in 2006 and F.T.F.O.M.F. in 2017, which peaked at No. 72 on the Billboard 200. He also co-founded Juggalo Championship Wrestling, where he has worked as a color commentator, and has been part of groups such as Dark Lotus and Soopa Villainz.
