Presciliana Esparolini

Presciliana Esparolini is an actress and dancer who was born and raised in the Mission District of San Francisco. She started performing as a five year old and spent seven years dancing with San Francisco's Academy of Ballet. One of her earliest stage productions, Stepping Out, had her performing as both dancer and actress. She earned a BA in theater and mathematics at Holy Names University and completed a certificate program at the American Conservatory of Theatre. Her first role after graduating was Celsa Guiterrez at the La Jolla Playhouse in Michael Ondaatje's Billy the Kid, with Tony Award winner Des McAnuff directing. She moved to Los Angeles and worked in television and film. The Coleman & Smith Artistic Company gave her a Best Character Actress award in 2005 for the play Extremities, directed by Rodger Mosely. She went on to form a theater company in Los Angeles and to co-produce a television project with the writer Annie Brunner.
