Paul Thornley
Biography
Paul Thornley is a British actor who has worked widely in UK and Broadway theater. He originated Dodge in the National Theatre musical London Road and reprised it in the film adaptation in 2015, and he later appeared in the National Theatre's Dear England (2024). Among his other theater work are The Habits at Hampstead Theatre and A Chorus of Disapproval at the Harold Pinter Theatre. He took the part of Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for its original West End run in 2016, which earned him a Best Supporting Actor in a Play nomination at the 2017 Whatsonstage.com Awards, and he played the role again on Broadway in 2018 and 2020. His screen credits include The Crown, Call the Midwife, Maigret and Criminal Record, and the films The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, The Mercy and Grimsby. He voiced Olgierd von Everec for the Hearts of Stone expansion of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
