Paul Philip Clark

Paul Philip Clark is a martial artist and actor who was born in England and grew up in Portugal. He started martial arts at twelve, taking karate and kickboxing lessons, inspired by 1990s martial arts stars such as Jackie Chan and Jean Claude Van Damme. At nineteen he relocated to China, where he studied Wushu at Beijing Sports University, enrolling in a two-year program where he trained in several disciplines, among them the straight sword, spear, staff, saber, and long fist. Dreaming of movie work, he found opportunities in commercials and television shows before becoming a full-time actor. He has worked with performers including Michelle Yeoh, Scott Adkins, Sammo Hung, Andy Lau, Ziyi Zhang, and Dolph Lundgren. Fighting Jackie Chan, his childhood hero, in Chinese Zodiac was perhaps his greatest honor. He was based in Beijing and pursued martial arts and filmmaking.
