Paul Adelstein
Biography
Paul Adelstein is an American actor born in Chicago who began his career in theater with New Crime Productions and later with Steppenwolf. He made his film debut in The Grifters (1990), and his screen credits include Bedazzled (2000), Intolerable Cruelty (2003), Be Cool (2005), Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), and The Menu (2022). On television he is known for Agent Paul Kellerman in Prison Break, a regular role from 2005 to 2007, and for Dr. Cooper Freedman in Private Practice, which he stayed with for all six seasons. He later had a recurring part as Leo Bergen on Scandal and played Jake Novak on Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. He co-created Imposters, wrote six episodes, and appeared as Shelly Cohen. He also sings and plays guitar in the band Doris.
