Pamela Springsteen

Biography

Pamela Springsteen is an American actress and photographer who was born in Freehold Township, New Jersey, and had a short acting career before moving behind the camera. She took up acting and made her first screen appearance as a young cheerleader in the comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), with smaller parts following in Reckless (1984) and Modern Girls (1986). Her first lead role came in 1988, as the serial killer Angela Baker in the cult horror film Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988), a part she reprised in Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989), which brought her a following from horror fans. Her last film appearance was in The Gumshoe Kid (1990). She went on to work as a still photographer for the film and music industries, shooting album covers and publicity images, and she directed a music video for the singer Kim Richey.
