Nick Reding
Biography
Nick Reding is an English actor and director who left school at 16 and turned professional at 17. Born in Chiswick, London, he is best known for his television work, playing a police officer in The Bill and a detective in the BBC crime thriller Silent Witness. His many other screen credits range from The Monocled Mutineer, Bodyguards, Minder and A Touch of Frost to the films Croupier (1998), The Constant Gardener (2005) and The First Grader (2010). On stage he appeared in Angels in America by Tony Kushner at the Royal National Theatre, and he also took leading roles at the Royal Court. After moving to Kenya in 2002 he has kept acting in films while also working as a director and producer.
