Morgan Benoit
Biography
Morgan Benoit is a martial artist and actor whose training in Chinese martial arts led to stunt and film work. At 18 he moved to China and studied at Beijing Sports University, mastering Long Fist Kung Fu; after climbing to the top of his class, he entered the Shi Cha Hai sports academy, where Jet Li and many Chinese Olympic athletes once trained. There he learned gymnastics privately while appearing in Chinese historical dramas, commercials and game shows, and that led him to pursue the tumbling and strength feats of film stunt work. Jackie Chan noted his ability on The Forbidden Kingdom (2008), and he also worked with David Carradine on Last Hour (2008). After nearly ten years in China, he returned to the United States to continue acting in Los Angeles.
