Miraj Grbic

Miraj Grbic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Former Yugoslavia). He grew up in the Olympic city of Sarajevo in the center of Europe, and no one ever suspected that this City would be under siege, and that war, during which Miraj spent his teenage years, would last for four years. After the war ended and he finished high school, at the age of 18, he entered the respected Academy of Performing Arts, at the University of Sarajevo, to study acting. On the third year of the Academy he started getting noticeable roles on the main stage of National Theater Sarajevo, the most important theater house in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Right after he graduated, Miraj was employed by the same theater and soon becomes the first category actor. Since 1996 he had more than 60 theater premieres and played various characters in plays by Moliere, Shakespeare, Gogol, Chekhov, Camus and many others. As a student he started playing leading roles in Bosnian movies such as The Tunnel and Zaboravljena Poslovica, and until today he played in more than 30 movies. Having done international movies, such as Body Complete (Austria), The Hunting Party (USA), Halima's Path (Croatia), As If I Am Not There (Ireland), Selam (Turkey), Little Hands (Australia), and many other movies, his biggest breakthrough in the United States was role of Bogdan Alexenko in Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol. He played in more then ten popular TV Shows and TV Sitcoms, in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Croatia that brought him regional fame, like the TV Sitcoms Lud, Zbunjen, Normalan, Kucni ljubimci TV Series Ruza Vjetrova, Larin Izbor-Izgubljeni Princ, Viza za Buducnost, Crna Hronika. He is the carrier of the Black belt in Taekwondo, the singer and front man of the rock band Karne, made up of actors and screenwriters. Because of his Karate and Taekwondo skills, he is doing all of his own stunts and stage fights. In the year of 2008 he married actress Marija Omaljev. In 2013. Miraj moved to Los Angeles, California.
