Michele Carey
Biography
Michele Carey was an American actress who appeared in films and guest-starred on television in the 1960s and 1970s. Born in Annapolis, Maryland, she signed with the John Robert Powers Agency after high school and modeled in Los Angeles before turning to acting. Her best-known role was Josephine MacDonald in the Howard Hawks Western El Dorado (1966), opposite John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, and James Caan. Later films included Live a Little, Love a Little (1968), The Sweet Ride (1968), Dirty Dingus Magee (1970), and Scandalous John (1971). On television she guest-starred on Mission Impossible, The Wild Wild West, It Takes a Thief, Alias Smith and Jones, Starsky and Hutch, appeared in The Norliss Tapes (1973) and the second The Six Million Dollar Man pilot film (1973), and voiced a recurring computer on A Man Called Sloane. She retired in 1984 but returned for In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro (1986). She died in 2018.
