Biography

Matt Walton is an American actor who works in theater, film and television, and he is best known for playing Elijah Clarke on One Life to Live for 18 months starting in 2009. Born in Hampton, New Jersey, he trained at Boston Conservatory as a musical theater major and made his New York City debut Off-Broadway in 1997 as Berger in a 30th anniversary production of Hair, which led to further Off-Broadway and regional stage roles. His early television work was on soap operas including Guiding Light and As the World Turns, and he later had guest parts on Rescue Me, Royal Pains and Cashmere Mafia. His films include Burn After Reading, Gigantic (2008) and Armless (2010), and he played sportscaster Alex Reiser on the Comedy Central show Onion SportsDome. He has also done extensive voice-over and commercial work.
