Next Stop, Christmas (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

For Angie Reynolds, a surgeon, the holiday means another shift on call at the hospital rather than time with her family. She falls asleep on her commuter train and wakes in her home town, ten years in the past, at Christmas in 2011. Recovered from the shock, she realizes she can make different choices this time. The train's conductor offers advice, and the holiday she is living again may show her who and what is truly important. That earlier Christmas brings the sportscaster Tyler Grant, who wants an answer to his proposal, and her friend Ben Lee. She wonders too whether she can change her parents' marriage, and what her life will look like if she returns.
