Ludwika Paleta
Biography
Ludwika Paleta is an actress whose career began in Mexican television after her family settled there when her father, the musician Zbigniew Paleta, found work in the country. Her sister Dominika took her to an audition, and the casting directors were so impressed that they offered Paleta her first television job, in Carrusel (1989). That part made her an instant celebrity and drew attention from young viewers. Three years later she returned to the small screen in El Abuelo y Yo, appearing opposite Gael Garcia Bernal, and she has called it her favorite television job. Through those early roles she gained wide popularity in Mexico, the country where she has lived since childhood.
