Lewis Smith
Biography
Lewis Smith is an American actor from Chattanooga, Tennessee, who became known for playing Bobby Fontana in The Heavenly Kid (1985) and Charles Main in the first two parts of the North and South miniseries. He also portrayed Curly Bill Brocious in Kevin Costner's Wyatt Earp, and in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984) he was Perfect Tommy. His other film work includes Southern Comfort (1981), where he was Earl Stuckey, and in the early sequences of Love Child. In 1987 he took the title role in a television pilot of The Man Who Fell to Earth, and he later starred in the Fox comedy Karen's Song. Smith appeared as Jinglebells Cody in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained (2012). He founded The Actors Academy in Los Angeles, which helps students prepare for careers in film and television.
