Behind the award
Speight provided the voice for Augustus Cole, a former "Thrashball" player, in the 2006 Xbox 360 game Gears of War, and humorously reused some of his own characteristic lines. He received the G-Phoria '07 Best Voiceover award.
Big break
In 2003, Speight starred in the Terry Tate: Office Linebacker ad for Reebok, which gained popularity as a Superbowl commercial. That exposure led to more chances in film, television and video games.
A change of course
Before acting, Speight wrestled professionally for the Global Wrestling Federation and Catch Wrestling Association as Rasta the Voodoo Man, and quit wrestling in 1997 to pursue acting.
