Leila George

Leila George is an Australian and American actress who trained at schools in Britain, Australia and the United States before moving into film and television. Born in Sydney in 1992 and raised by her mother, the actress Greta Scacchi, she studied at Brighton College, Crawley College, the Arts Educational Schools in London, Sydney Film School and the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City. She first worked in film as an additional camera operator on the 2013 documentary The Last Impresario, then took the stage in Perth in 2014 opposite her mother in Chekhov's The Seagull. Her first starring screen role came in the television film Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (2016), followed by parts in Mortal Engines (2018) and The Kid (2019). From 2019 she played the younger version of Ellen Barkin's character in the series Animal Kingdom.
