Kola Bokinni
Biography
Kola Bokinni is an English actor who was born in London and attended the BRIT School, where he started on Saturdays before joining the main school. An original play at the Bussey in Peckham, later staged at the Royal Court Theatre in Sloane Square, gave him his first public performance, and good reviews led him to sign with an agent. In 2016 he took the part of Lennard in a Black Mirror episode called Men Against Fire, and he had a recurring role as Leyton in Top Boy. From 2020 he portrayed Isaac McAdoo in the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, a center-back and vice-captain for AFC Richmond who grows into the captaincy. He also appeared in Celebrity Bear Hunt in 2025.
