Kenny Alfonso
Biography
Kenny Alfonso is an American character actor and comic who grew up playing baseball in Tampa, Florida, and studied at Austin Peay before a job transfer took him to Atlanta, where he started taking acting and improv classes. Early work on stage, in commercials and in independent films encouraged him to leave his pharmaceutical sales career and perform full time. His films include The Bay (2012), Finding Steve McQueen (2019), The Founder and Ride Along. On television he spent six seasons on Drop Dead Diva and also appeared in Prison Break, Nashville and Filthy Rich. He co-hosted Barkitecture, a how-to program on the D.I.Y. Network and HGTV, building custom doghouses for rescued and adopted dogs. He has also performed at comedy festivals and in one-person shows across the country.
