Kenn Scott
Biography
Kenn Scott is an American actor, martial artist, puppeteer, stuntman and filmmaker. Born in New York City, he came to screen work through martial arts and stunt performance, and his best known credit is Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), which he performed as a stuntman, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), where he wore the suit; both credited him under his birth name, Kenn Troum. As Kenn Scott he moved into action cinema on both sides of the camera, starring in Showdown (1993) and Sworn to Justice (1996), among other straight-to-video action adventures. He made his directing debut with Better Never Than Late, a comedy short built around martial arts, and later directed Adventures of Johnny Tao: Rock Around the Dragon. In 2019 he published Teenage Ninja to Mutant Turtle: Becoming the Reel Raphael.
