Kala Alexander
Biography
Kala Alexander is a Hawaiian surfer and actor who, in 2001, co-founded the Wolfpak, a surf group on the North Shore of Oahu, where he took on the role of enforcer at Banzai Pipeline. Born on Oahu in 1969, he grew up in Hanalei on Kauai. He got his first acting work in 2002 as an angry local in Blue Crush, and later appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) and Into the Blue 2: The Reef (2009). Since 2010 he has played Kawika in a recurring part on Hawaii Five-0. In 2014 he starred in Sharkageddeon, a Discovery Channel Shark Week special on why shark attacks were rising in Hawaii, and he discussed the filming on Shark After Dark.
