Biography

Julie Warner is an American actress who started out in soap opera before moving into film. Born in Manhattan, she was at the Dalton School at twelve when an agent she met there urged her to consider acting, and she landed a role on Guiding Light soon after. She studied theater arts at Brown University, worked in summer stock and conservatory theater, and appeared in two episodes of the series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Her breakout role came in Doc Hollywood (1991) as Lou, opposite Michael J. Fox, and she went on to Mr. Saturday Night (1992), Indian Summer (1993), The Puppet Masters (1994) and Tommy Boy (1995). She played Danni Lipton on Family Law and the recurring Megan O'Hara on Nip/Tuck, and starred in Chalk It Up (2016).
