Jude Hill
Biography
Jude Hill is a Northern Irish child actor who began drama lessons in Portadown at age four. Born in Gilford, County Down, he made his feature debut as the lead of Kenneth Branagh's Belfast (2021), a film drawn from Branagh's own childhood and seen largely through Hill's character Buddy. That performance brought him the Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Performer. He also played the title role in Rian, a World War II short, signed with United Talent Agency in December 2021, and in 2022 made his television debut in Magpie Murders. His later films include the horror movie Mandrake (2022), Branagh's supernatural mystery A Haunting in Venice (2023), in which he played Leopold Ferrier, and Holland (2025), where he appeared as Harry Vandergroot.
