Biography

Joseph Kloska is an English actor who started out in radio and went on to work in television, theater, and film. Born in 1983 and brought up in Cornwall, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated in 2006. He joined the BBC Radio Drama Company after winning the Carleton Hobbs Bursary, and radio work led to supporting roles on stage and screen. His films include Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) and The Little Vampire 3D (2017), while on television he appeared in The Crown (2016) and Foyle's War (2010). With the Royal Shakespeare Company he played Tiro in Imperium in 2017 and 2018, a performance one reviewer noted for its irrepressible wit and verve, and he later took the role of the Duke of Buckingham in Richard III in 2023.

    Joseph Kloska's first career move was joining the BBC Radio Drama Company, which he auditioned for as he was about to leave RADA. He won the Carleton Hobbs Bursary and a five-month contract that began days after term ended.
