Jason Earles

Jason Earles is an American actor who became a fixture on Disney Channel, playing Jackson Stewart in the sitcom Hannah Montana and Rudy Gillespie in the series Kickin' It. Born in San Diego, he lived in Ohio, Washington and Oregon before earning a theater arts degree from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, in 2000. Early on he played a nerdy card gamer on the CBS sitcom Still Standing and appeared as Thomas Gates in National Treasure (2004). He took the part of Ernie Kaplowitz in American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005) and voiced Spudnik in Space Buddies (2009). His most notable role was Jackson Stewart, the older brother on Hannah Montana, which ran from 2006 to 2011. He later starred as Rudy Gillespie in Kickin' It, a Disney XD series that premiered in 2011, and worked as an acting coach on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, where he also guest-starred as Dewey Wood.
