Jan Wiley
Biography
Jan Wiley was an American film actress who began her screen career in 1937 with the films New Faces of 1937 and Stage Door, and early on she was billed as Harriet Brandon. She was born in Marion, Indiana, as Jan Harriet Wiley, and went on to appear in 39 films, the bulk of them Hollywood B movies, her screen parts ranging from leads to supporting turns and minor roles. Leading work was a rarity for her, though she played the title character in A Fig Leaf for Eve (1944), and she was probably best remembered for the horror film She-Wolf of London (1946). Wiley, born in 1916, died in 1993.
