Biography

James Preston Rogers is an actor who moved into performing after a first commercial role, booked without an agent or headshot. He was born in Toronto, Ontario. Bjorn in Outlander (2008), opposite Ron Perlman and Jim Caviezel, and a part in Jesse Stone: Sea Change (2007) with Tom Selleck were among his early screen roles, and it was then that World Wrestling Entertainment invited him to a training camp in Houston and Atlanta. After four months he decided acting was his true calling; the company released him and he went back to Toronto, where he was cast in the miniseries ZOS: Zone of Separation (2008). He also appeared in the independent feature Poker Nights, and his six foot five frame and heavy build helped him stand out in a crowd.
